What is Executive Coaching and Executive Reflection with Elaine?

Elaine empowers leaders to reflect to create – to work imaginatively and creatively with care, compassion, hope and courage to build healthy teams and organisations which are fit for purpose, and which seek to do good in the world.

We do this together in our sessions by stitching together the golden threads of ‘WHO you are and WHO you are becoming as a leader with your intentions as a leader’ with ‘HOW you work as a leader, HOW you are experienced by others and WHAT you can therefore ultimately achieve’.

Beyond the technical and rational, Elaine sees leadership as both deeply personal and relational – and where the personal is also the universal and the panoramic. Elaine believes that leadership exists in the temenos of the relationship dynamics that we create and in the conversations that we host. When we can learn to embrace our full humanity and our shared human condition magic happens. We learn to lead by first connecting with and leading ourselves in order to BE the change that we want to see in our world.

Elaine is a keen Nordic walker, reader, writer, artist and crafter – and her eclectic range of interests enriches her work.

Elaine lives in London and the Lake District in Cumbria.

What is Elaine’s Approach?

Elaine is an accredited Master Executive Coach with both the Association of Coaching and the European Coaching and Mentoring Council. She has a Distinction in Executive Coaching from The OCM and an MA in Reflective Learning from Middlesex University. She is also an accredited MBTI and EQI Practitioner and Labyrinth Trained and Certified Facilitator with Veriditas.

Elaine blends her own Board experience with her specialist leadership, coach and coaching supervision training and original research in reflection, creativity, and adult learning to guide, support and walk alongside leaders on their own leadership journeys. She uses a range of reflective, mindful, nature based, art based and creative approaches to gently help you to free your thinking. Elaine also co-hosts a 12. Month programme called ‘Cultivating and Choreographing the Rich Tapestry of your Wholehearted Creativity’ and a 9 month programmed called “Bridging the Unknown: From Role Work to Soul Calling in Later Life”. 

Elaine’s approach is informed by the books she has published and the articles she has written. Her books include:
